ABSTRACT A connector for the pins of an hermetic header comprises a housing with three side-by-side stalls. One lead extends to a first stall and is connected by a crimped splice terminal to a diode lead. The diode is mounted in a housing recess between the stalls and a wall of the housing and the other lead of the diode is connected to a pin receptacle in the third stall. The housing is closed by a lid and means in the housing engage the crimped splice to withstand tensile force on the associated lead to protect the diode.
