The invention relates to a connector (10) comprising an insulating housing module (16) and at least one shielding plate (20). The housing module (16) contains a plurality of signal leads (11) and at least one ground lead (12) extending between a mating end (M) and a contact end (C) of said connector (10). The shielding plate (20) comprises one or more fastening elements (23,24) contacting said ground lead (12) each having a distal portion (25) and an intermediate portion (26) extending between the shielding plate (20) and the distal portion (25). The distal portion (25) has a deformable structure (27) for engaging a portion of said ground lead (12).

La présente invention concerne un connecteur (10) possédant un module boîtier isolant (16) et au moins une plaque de blindage (20). Ce module boîtier (16) contient une pluralité de fils de signal (11) et au moins un fils de masse (12) s'étendant entre une extrémité d'appariement (M) et une extrémité de contact (C) de ce connecteur (10).
