ABSTRACT A connector comprising a connector head, a substantially heat-stable support member extending from the connector head, and a closure member extending from the connector head, portions of the closure member being contiguous with the support member to form at least one hollow member open at the end thereof remote from the connector head, part of the closure member being heat-recoverable to constrict the or a hollow member on the application of heat. The connector head, support member and closure member may form a connector body of unitary construction, and the support member may have a wall thickness of at least twice the wall thickness of the closure member. Electrical contacts may extend through the connector head for easy connection to contacts of a compatible connector, the other end of each contact extending into a respective hollow member for connection to a conductor to be terminated.
