ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides in a constant velocity universal joint of the type in which an outer member and an inner member are connected to each other via a ball cage having a plurality of balls mounted in respective ball windows and the balls are in engagement with respective pairs of longitudinally extending ball grooves in the mutually facing surfaces of said members the improvement in which the ball cage has at its outer spherical surface longitudinally extending cut-out grooves con- tinuous to the respective ball windows, said cut-out grooves having contours substantially conforming to partition walls between adjacent ball grooves present on the periphery of the mouth of the outer member whereby each partition wall is inser- table in each groove.
