The invention provides a method of hydraulic stamping which does not require the use of a powerful machine. The method comprises using a stationary deformation punch (3), a die (5), movable blank holders (10) and a stationary piston (4) about which the movable die (5) is slidingly mounted. The volume of counter-pressure water is thereby held constant. The counter pressure load is conveyed to the stationary piston (4). The method is suitable for stamping metal parts.

Le procédé permet d'utiliser les avantages de l'emboutissage hydraulique sans mettre en oeuvre une puissance importante de la machine utilisée. Il consiste à utiliser un poinçon de déformation fixe (3), une matrice (5) et des serre-flans (10) mobiles et un piston fixe (4) autour duquel la matrice mobile (5) est montée coulissante. Le volume d'eau de contre-pression est ainsi maintenu constant. L'effort de contre-pression est repris par le piston fixe (4). Application à l'emboutissage des pièces métalliques.
