The invention relates to construction and can be used to prepare construction items of various shapes and sizes for decorative finishing. A construction element comprises a construction block made of either foam concrete, gas silicate concrete, expanded-clay concrete, heavy concrete, or otherwise of a thermal insulating material selected from the group comprised of foam polystyrene, foam polyurethane, gas silicate, or foam concrete, or another material with similar thermal conductive qualities, or in the form of a ceramic or silicate brick. A decorative coating is formed by placing at least one side of the construction block in a mold containing the decorative finishing mixture. A process includes preparation of the decorative mixture by mixing cement and sand according to a ratio ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. During the mixing of the sand, and depending on its fraction, the following sand fractions are added: firstly, a coarse fraction, followed by a medium one and finally, a tine fraction. Water and plasticizer are added at the same time as the sand, and the prepared mixture is poured in a mold. A layer of the resulting decorative finishing mixture can range in thickness from 5 mm to 50 mm. A construction block is then placed onto the layer of the prepared mixture, and maintained long enough for the mixture to harden.
L'invention se rapporte au domaine de la construction et peut être utilisée pour fabriquer des articles de construction de finition décoratifs ayant différentes formes et grandeurs. L'élément de construction proposé présente une particularité intéressante: un bloc de construction est rempli de béton alvéolaire, de béton gaz-silice, de béton d'argile, de béton lourd, d'un matériau thermo-isolant choisi dans un groupe constitué de mousse de polystyrène, de mousse de polyuréthanne, de gazosilicate ou de béton alvéolaire ou d'un matériau thermo-isolant similaire, ou encore un matériau se présentant sous forme de brique de céramique ou de silice. Le revêtement de finition est constitué par empilement d'un bloc de construction par au moins un côté, dans un moule avec un mélange de décoration-finition. La particularité de ce procédé tient à la préparation du mélange de décoration-finition: il est obtenu par mélange de ciment et de sable selon un rapport variant de 1:1 à 1:3. Au cours du processus de mélange du sable, on introduit, selon la fraction du sable, tout d'abord du sable à forte fraction, puis du sable à fraction moyenne et enfin du sable à fraction fine. Simultanément à l'introduction du sable, on ajoute de l'eau et un plastifiant et le mélange est versé dans le moule. Le mélange de décoration-finition ainsi obtenu a une épaisseur allant de 5 mm à 50 mm. Puis, sur la couche dudit mélange, on dépose un bloc de construction et on maintient l'élément pendant la durée nécessaire au durcissement.
