ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The present invention relates to contact adhe- sives which are based on known copolymers of at least two ethylenically unsaturated compounds and which are known as adhesives. The contact adhesive according to this invention contains in addition a vinylalkoxysilane as cross-linker incorporated by polymerisation. The cross- linking takes place already at room temperature without addition of further cross-linking agents, as a result of atmospheric moisture. It can be accelerated by addition of cross-linking catalysts known per se.
