The contact arrangement is a connector block for detachably fastening an electrical component, particularly in integrated circuit having a plurality of terminal contacts disposed in a ball grid array (BGA), in a column grid array (CGA), in a land grid array (LGA) or of the flip-chip type to a printed circuit board. In a support part, a number of contact pins are disposed in a grid in bores. The contact pins project from the bore on the sides facing the printed circuit board and are surface-mounted together with contact areas of the printed circuit board. A free end region of each bore is intended for guiding the substantially dome-shaped terminal contacts. Between the end of a contact pin and a terminal contact there is a space bridged for establishing an electrical connection with a contact element, for example an axially compressible coil spring. By means of several holding-down elements disposed peripherally to the integrated circuit, the integrated circuit is pressed down upon the support part. Even with a plurality of terminal contacts, a faultless electrical contact is achievable between the terminal contacts and the associated contact pins with a holding-down force which is relatively small. This particularly because with the contact arrangement according to the invention, no axially acting frictional forces need be overcome for establishing the contact.
Arrangement de contacts constitué d'un bloc de connexion permettant de fixer un composant électrique de manière non permanente, en particulier dans un circuit intégré présentant une série de bornes disposées en boîtier BGA, en boîtier CGA, en boîtier LGA ou en boîtier de type connexion par billes sur une carte à circuits imprimés. Sur une section de soutien, un certain nombre de broches de contact sont disposées sur une grille dans des alésages. Les broches de contact commencent au niveau de l'alésage situé sur les côtés faisant face à la carte à circuits imprimés et sont montées en applique sur les surfaces de contact de cette carte. Chaque alésage présente une extrémité libre servant à guider les bornes, dont la forme est plus ou moins celle d'une coupole. Un espace ponté entre l'extrémité d'une broche de contact et une borne permet d'établir une connexion électrique avec un élément de contact, comme un ressort hélicoïdal comprimable. Le circuit intégré est maintenu en place sur le support par une série d'éléments d'assujettissement disposés sur son pourtour. Ainsi, même avec une série de bornes, on obtient un contact électrique irréprochable entre les bornes et les broches de contact qui leur sont associées, grâce à une force de maintien relativement faible. Cela s'explique notamment par l'absence, avec ce type d'arrangement, de forces de friction axiales à maîtriser pour établir le contact.
