The invention relates to a contact lens having at least two focal lengths, a single lower supporting element (1) enabling the lens to be moved in translation in relation to the eye and a region (9) in the lower part of the lens, which region (9) has an outer face connected to the rest of the outer face (E) of the lens by means of a recess and an inner face merging with the rest of the inner face (i) of the lens, said recess defining the lower supporting element (1). The lens is characterised in that the aforementioned region (9) is thin, having an average thickness (e4) of the same order of magnitude as the thickness (e1) of the upper edge (3) of the lens.
Cette lentille de contact comprend au moins deux focales, uniquement un appui inférieur (1) apte à permettre la translation de cette lentille par rapport à l'oeil, et une plage (9) disposée dans la partie inférieure de la lentille, cette plage (9) présentant une face externe reliée au reste de la face externe (E) de la lentille par un décrochement et une face interne confondue avec le reste de la face interne (i) de la lentille, ledit décrochement définissant ledit appui inférieur (1). Cette lentille est remarquable en ce que ladite plage (9) est mince, c'est-à-dire qu'elle présente une épaisseur moyenne (e4) du même ordre de grandeur que l'épaisseur (e1) du bord supérieur (3) de ladite lentille.
