CONTACT LENS DISINFECTING UNIT Abstract of the Disclosure: This invention presents a contact lens disinfecting unit in which the lenses are immersed in a saline solution and heated to a predetermined minimum disinfecting temperature which is maintained for a predetermined period of time. The unit has a heating system which includes a PTC thermistor as a heating element sandwiched between metal heat distribution plates, and this heating system interacts with a manually resettable thermostat to control operation of the unit.
