This is a contact lens with, locally, protruding from the external surface (11), in its peripheral area (13), for its dynamic stabilization, at least one palpebral protruberance. According to the invention, this palpebral protruberance (12) is globally extended circumferentially and, at each of its circumferential extremities (15, 16), the slope of its ridge line (L) is between 0.020 and 0.140 and, preferably, between 0.040 and 0.080. Application to contact lenses for oriented optical correction and contact lenses for presbyopia.
