- 1 - Abstract: A contact switch assembly comprises a housing, a pair of contact elements fixedly supported within the housing, a plunger axially slidably extending into the housing, and a generally cylindrical, movable contact member tiltably carried by the plunger so as to extend transversely of the plunger. A support piece for the fixed contact elements and a biasing spring for urging the movable contact member cause opposite end portions of the movable contact member to contact the respective fixed contact elements. The arrangement can achieve high precision operation.
