Abstract A container is disclosed comprising a generally cylindrical or con- ical tubular sidewall; a bottom closure secured to a lower portion of the sidewall to seal the bottom end of the container; and an inwardly disposed rim being circumferentially continuous about the periphery of the top end of the container and comprising an upper end portion of the sidewall extending inwardly, downwardly, and outwardly in such a fashion that the edge of the inner surface of the upper end of the sidewall is in a position which is high- er than the lowest portion of the rim. The incorporation of a top closure with such a container is also disclosed.
