ABSTRACT A container and method of making the same are provided. The container includes a basket having a base, a pair of upwardly extending side walls and a pair of upwardly extending end walls thereby to define an open upper surface for receiving goods. A net in the form of a tube surrounds the basket and covers the open upper surface to retain goods held in the basket. A strap extends along the longitudinal axis of the container and overlies the net covering the open upper surface. Clips secure each end of the strap to the net adjacent the end walls and close the open ends of the tube.
