A closure for a container comprises a spout (22) containing a plastics coated foil (40) that is welded via one face to an inside flange (30) of the spout (22) and by means of a depending portion (42) on its opposite face to a side wall (10) of the container so that forces on the weld between foil portion (42) and the container when the closure is opened are in sheer rather than in tension. The closure can be used with a PET bottle or with other types of plastics or plastics coated containers.

L'invention concerne un système de fermeture de réceptacle qui comprend un goulot (22) doté d'un feuil recouvert de plastique (40) soudé d'un côté sur la collerette intérieure (30) du goulot (22), et de l'autre côté opposé, sur une paroi latérale (10) du réceptacle au moyen d'une partie associée (42), de sorte que les forces qui s'exercent sur la soudure entre la partie feuil (42) et le réceptacle au moment de l'ouverture du système de fermeture soient de type cisaillement plutôt que de type tension.
