Container for aggressive liquids A b s t r a c t A container (1) intended for transporting and discharging aggressive liquids, such as silicon tetra- chloride, is closed with a container lid (6) which carries a valve head (10). The inner surfaces of the container (1) and of the container lid are lined with fluorinated hydrocarbon. The valve head (10) has a valve block (11) which, in valve block drilled holes (16) accommodates valve inserts (19) and is enclosed by a steel jacket (12) which is bolted to the container lid (6). All the parts which come into contact with the aggressive liquid con- sist of fluorinated hydrocarbon, so that contact between the aggressive lquid and metal is avoided (Figure 1).
