Summary: Disclosed herein is a bulk material container or bin (1) which is equipped with an oscillating or vibrating bin activator system (2) which consists of an approximately funnel-shaped discharge bottom part (3) containing an un- balance motor (4) and a vibrating plate (5), the discharge bottom part (3) being elements under an intermediate layer of rubber spring elements (10) at the edge of a bottom ope- ning (11) of the bulk material bin (1). As a sealing means between the stationary bulk material bin (1) and the oscil- lating bin activator (2) there is attached a circumferential flexible sleeve (13). In order to protect this sleeve against any outside mechanical forces or weather influences a circum- ferential protecting cover (16) is located outside in front of the sleeve (13). This protecting cover (16) furthermore prevents leakage of bulk material in case of the sleeve (13) bursting. - 5 -
