ABSTRACT A container for collecting and bundling waste comprises a base and walls, the walls including slots for retaining a binding material such as string, twine or the like. Each slot is diametrically opposed to a slot in another wall and a length of binding material is retained between a pair of opposing slots such that it lies along the base of the container. Waste to be bundled is placed on top of the thus positioned binding material and the free ends of the binding material are removed from the slots and tied about the waste to form the bundle.
