A container (10) for receiving an explosive element and containing fragments projected by an explosion thereof. The container (10) comprising a collapsible seamless enclosure (12) made of walls defining an open end (18) and a closed end. The walls are formed by a plurality of independent interleaved plies of material, the material and number of plies are selected to contain fragments projected by the explosion. The container also comprising an outer casing having a plurality of first and second panels (22,24) defining a second enclosure for snugly receiving the seamless enclosure (12). The first and second panels (22,24) being rigid, the first panels being hingedly connected to the second panels such that the first panels are movable between a first deployed configuration, where the first panels define a second open end corresponding to the first open end (18), to a second folded configuration, where the first panels at least partially close the second open end, thereby reducing a height of the outer casing. The container is folded for storage by collapsing the seamless enclosure and moving the first panels of the outer casing in the second folded configuration.
L'invention concerne un contenant (10) destiné à recevoir un élément explosif et à contenir des fragments projetés par une explosion. Ce contenant (10) comprend une enveloppe sans coupure pouvant s'affaisser (12) possédant des parois définissant à la fois une extrémité ouverte (18) et une extrémité fermée. Ces parois sont formées de plusieurs plis intercalés indépendants d'un matériau choisi pour contenir les fragments susmentionnés. Ce contenant comprend également une gaine extérieure possédant plusieurs premiers et seconds panneaux rigides (22, 24) définissant une seconde enveloppe destinée à recevoir de façon serrée l'enveloppe sans coupure (12). Les premiers et seconds panneaux (22, 24) sont connectés de façon à permettre que les premiers panneaux soient mobiles entre une première configuration déployée, dans laquelle ils définissent une seconde extrémité ouverte correspondant à la première extrémité ouverte (18), et une seconde configuration pliée, dans laquelle ils ferment du moins en partie la seconde extrémité ouverte, ce qui permet de diminuer la hauteur de la gaine extérieure. Ce contenant est plié pour stockage par affaissement de l'enveloppe sans coupure et par déplacement des premiers panneaux dans la configuration pliée.
