ABSTRACT A container for liquids is disclosed which is made of plastic- coated cardboard and has a basic body in the form of a rectangular parallelpiped and a gable-shaped top extended to a closed flat seam, the said top being pro- vided with a location for the insertion of a drinking-straw. A cut-out for the insertion of a drinking-straw is provided in the edge of the container above the apex of one side of the gabled top.
