ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A liquid container has a supply container, a watering basin and a shaft connecting the two and having an opening to the basin, in order to make possible a work-saving accessibility during refilling. The container opening is arranged at the side of the supply container for refilling, and a single hole is arranged off-center on the same side of the supply container as an opening. The supply container has a hinge mount or pin arranged on its back side, so that the container can be pivoted out of the vertical position into the horizontal for refilling, in which horizontal position the container opening and the shaft hole, which serves as an overflow, are both arranged on top.
