A rectangular container for transporting a load, comprises a planar bottom wall, a first pair of opposed side walls and an second pair of opposed side walls integrally formed and extending upwardly from said bottom wall around the perimeter thereof, defining an interior containing space, said side walls comprising an upright lower portion extending substantially perpendicularly upwardly from the bottom wall to assist in stabilizing said load within the containing space. The side walls further comprising an upper portion extending upwardly and outwardly above said upright lower side wall portion at a greater outwardly extending angle to perpendicular. There is provided a pair of pivotable handles for use with the container, each pivotally attached between a first pair of opposed side walls of the container, said handles pivotable from a nesting position wherein each handle nests upon an upper edge of each respective wall of a second side wall pair to an upright carrying position wherein said pair of handles mate together along a center line of the container and are releasably interconnectable to each other to hold the handles in place in the upright position. In accordance with a further aspect of the invention, the second pair of opposed upper walls each have defined therein embodied handle openings formed below the upper edge of the wall and being sized to allow hands of the user to fit therethrough and when said handles are in the nested position upon the upper edge of the side walls, the handle forms part of the embodied handle opening defined in the upper edge of each wall of second side wall pair.
