ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to handling means for containers, with application in faster and more economical handling operations, effected with jacks of reduced dimen- sions. In addition to a sliding hooking are, locking means and two conventional lifting jacks which act on a tipping frame having two parts linked to each other, the gear in- cludes an auxiliary lifting jack linked to the chassis of the lorry, on the one hand, and to an auxiliary support linked to the pin on the other hand. The rear frame part is pivotally mounted on a pivot pin carried by the lorry, while the front frame part acts as a guide for the arm which pivots therewith.
