The present invention relates to a combined dispensing container and air freshener comprising: (1) a container body comprising a detergent composition to be dispensed; (2) a container closure; and (3) an air freshening unit permanently attached to the container body and having a fixed volume above 45ml; to provide detergent usage and improved passive air freshening performance and improved fragrance burst while shaking.
