A person using the assembly can participate in a sporting activity, and while taking a break, or after finishing, can take refreshment or food from the insulated compartment. A liner can be employed to prevent migration of liquids between the enclosures. The athletic bag can be sift sided, and can be collapsible to a storage position. The insulated compartment can also be collapsible, to facilitate storage when not in use.
