Before the container is opened for the first time, the lid (5) is held against the edge (3) of the container (1) by the depression produced therein. The neck ring (2) includes at least one radial reinforcement comprising, firstly, an upper sloping surface (8) onto which the lug (6) of the lid (5) engages when said lid is moved in the opening direction and, secondly, a rear stop surface (9) against which the lug (6) is located before the container is closed for the first time.
