A flowable materials container comprises a first sidewall and a second sidewall sealed together along a peripheral seam to define a fluid chamber. At least one sidewall is a film having at least one layer of a blend of a first component present in an amount from about 99% to about 55% by weight of the blend, and a second component in an amount by weight of the blend from about 45% to about 1%. The film has a modulus of elasticity when measured in accordance with ASTM D882 of less than about 60,000 psi, an internal haze when measured in accordance with ASTM D1003 of less than about 25%, an internal adhesion ranking of greater than about 2, a sample creep at 120°C under 27 psi loading of less than or equal to 150% for a film having a thickness of from about 5 mils to about 15 mils, and the film can be heat sealed into a container having seals, wherein the seals remain intact when the container is autoclaved at 121°C for one hour.
La présente invention concerne un récipient pour matières fluides (30). Au moins une paroi latérale (32) se présente sous la forme d'un film (10) comprenant au moins une couche d'un mélange d'un premier composant choisi dans le groupe constitué par (1) des copolymères éthyléniques et alpha -oléfiniques présentant une densité inférieure à environ 0,915 g/cc, (2) de l'éthylène copolymérisé avec des acrylates d'alkyle inférieur, (3) de l'éthylène copolymérisé avec des acrylates d'alkyle inférieur, et (4) des ionomères, ledit premier composant étant présent dans une proportion comprise entre environ 99 % et environ 55 % en poids de ce mélange, et d'un second composant présent dans une proportion comprise entre environ 45 % et environ 1 % en poids dudit mélange. Le second composant comprend un ou plusieurs polymères choisis parmi (1) des polymères contenant du propylène, (2) des polymères de polybutène, (3) des polymères de polyméthylpentène, (4) des polymères contenant une oléfine cyclique, et (5) des polymères contenant un hydrocarbure polycyclique ponté. Ce film (10) présente un module d'élasticité inférieur à environ 60 000 psi (selon la norme ASTM D882), un trouble interne inférieur à environ 25 % (selon la norme ASTM D1003), un degré d'adhérence interne supérieur à environ 2, et un fluage d'échantillon à 120 DEG C sous une charge de 27 psi inférieur ou égal à 150 % pour un film présentant une épaisseur comprise entre environ 5 mils et environ 15 mils, ce film (10) pouvant être thermosoudé dans un récipient (30) muni de joints, lesquels demeurent intacts lorsque ce récipient est autoclavé à 121 DEG C pendant une heure.
