CANADA "IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO CONTAINERS FOR GOODS" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A container comprises a rigid impermeable base and a flexible impermeable cover which is sealed to the base by means of an inflatable tube in an endless slot or groove on the base, the tube being separate from the cover and the periphery of the cover being inserted in the slot or groove to be pressed against a side wall . thereof by the tube when inflated, a flap being provided on the cover at a predetermined distance from the edge thereof, which flap facilitates insertion of the peripheral portion of the cover in the slot or groove, enables a visual check to be made that the cover is properly inserted to the correct depth and, by extending outwardly over the top of the outer wall of the groove, provides weather protection.
