ABSTRACT A closure and dispensing device for engagement with the outer end of a filling socket for a bag-like container in a leak-free manner, the closure being adapted to receive and retain therein a dispensing tap, there being a frangible diaphragm across the closure, with the diaphragm being adapted to be engaged and fractured by the tap so as to permit flow of contents from the bag-like container.
