ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A container having at least one heat-sealed juncture is formed from foam polymer sheet material. The foam polymer sheet material includes an area of crushed and compressed cellular structure directly ad- jacent the heat-sealed portion. The width of the crushed and compressed area is at least as great as the thickness of uncompressed foam in the layer.
