The contents of clear or lightly colored plastic containers or films are protected from ultraviolet radiation by the incorporation of certain UV absorbers of the class of reactable, durable hydroxyphenylbenzotriazoles in the container or film. The hydroxyphenylbenzotriazoles are reacted into the containers or films via condensation reaction and are thereby covalently bonded therein. Contents to be protected include foodstuffs, beverages, pharma~ceuticals, cosmetics, personal care products, shampoos and the like.
Selon l'invention, les contenus de contenants ou de films en plastique clair ou l~grement color~ sont prot~g~s des rayonnements ultraviolets par introduction de certains absorbeurs UV de la classe des hydroxyph~nylbenzotriazoles r~actifs et durables dans le contenant ou film. Les hydroxyph~nylbenzotriazoles sont mis ~ r~agir dans les contenants ou films par l'interm~diaire d'une r~action de condensation et sont, par cons~quent, li~s par covalence dans ceux-ci. On peut citer parmi les contenus ~ prot~ger : des aliments, des boissons, des produits pharmaceutiques et cosm~tiques, des produits d'hygine personnelle, des shampooings et analogue.
