A water filtering intake system includes a plurality of inlets (24) in communication with a water intake pump and a containment/exclusion boom having a support system (14) positioned in a body of water and a curtain of flexible fabric (16) which allows movement of water therethrough. The curtain has an upper end connected to the support system and a means for maintaining the lower end against the floor of the body of water. The curtain surrounds the inlets and filters water drawn through the curtain when the pump is operated and water is drawn through the inlets.
Un système de prise d'eau filtrant l'eau comprend une pluralité d'entrées (24) qui communiquent avec une pompe d'admission de l'eau et un barrage flottant de rétention/démarcation doté d'un système de support (14) positionné dans une masse d'eau et un rideau de matériau textile souple (16) qui laisse l'eau se déplacer dans ce dernier. Le rideau comprend une extrémité supérieure qui est reliée au système de support et un moyen qui maintient l'extrémité inférieure contre le plancher de la masse d'eau. Le rideau entoure les entrées et filtre l'eau envoyée dans ledit rideau lorsque la pompe est mise en oeuvre et que l'eau sort par les entrées.
