ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a continuous annealing process for strip coil, an im- provement characterized in that the annealing furnace is divided into two sections comprising a heating chamber and a cooling cham- ber, which are adjacent each other through an in-between door, and then, at the same time that a fully heated proceeding coil in the heating chamber is removed into the adjacent cooling chamber, a succeeding coil is charged into the heating chamber in which the heat is still left and such a heating - cooling order continuous- ly is repeated without any construction and rearrangement of the furnace at an interval of charge.
