This invention concerns an improved means of oxidizing aqueous dispersions of antimony trioxide to colloidal hydrous antimony pentoxide in a continuous flow system. The oxidant is hydrogen peroxide and the continuous flow system nominally consists of a static mixer and a tubular reactor.

L'invention porte sur une méthode améliorée pour oxyder des dispersions aqueuses de trioxyde d'antimoine en pentoxyde d'antimoine hydraté colloïdal, dans un système à écoulement continu. L'oxydant est du peroxyde d'hydrogène et le système à écoulement continu est formé d'un mélangeur statique et d'un réacteur tubulaire.
