ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A strand guiding means for a continuous casting plant with sets of supporting rollers and also driving rollers, at least one driving roller being arranged at the beginning and/or at the end of a set of supporting rollers. The driving rollers are mounted on cross beams, in turn connected to one of the supporting roller carrying members, preferably by means of a linkage parallelogram, and displaceable perpendicularly to the strand surface.
