ABSTRACT A continuous form for use in a printer is preprinted at regular intervals with headings and provided at regular intervals with reference marks. Such reference marks allow the form to be cut in positions correlated to such marks, to obtain sheets of a first type provided with preprinted headings and sheets of a second type without the headings, the different types of sheet being of the same size. The cutting operation may be performed auto- matically by a printer having a cutter and detecting means for recognizing the reference marks.
