A pressurizing unit (17, 20) and a distal device (1) are connected via a fluid circuit so as to infuse a fluid into the distal device (1) and the fluid circuit is provided with a control device (10, 11) for controlling the movement of ligating rings (13). The control device (10, 11) detects a pressure drop within the distal device (1) occurring when one or a plurality of ligating rings (13) disengage from the distal device (1) and stops the movement of the ligating rings (13) according the pressure drop so as to allow at least two ligating rings to disengage in a desired number at a time, thereby permitting a continuous ligating treatment on a varicosity or a hemorrhoid.
