ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a pocketed record card assembly which is formed from a plurality of superimposed plies of paper. The assembly includes a top ply, an intermediate ply and a backing ply. These plies are joined together along a generally U-shaped region which extends along an opposing pair of side edges as well as along one end of the assembly. The top ply has therein at least one line of weakening which defines a removable section extending from the opposing end of the assembly to an intermediate region thereof. The intermediate ply has a panel defined therein located inwardly of the U-shaped region and being connected to the remainder of the intermediate ply along a line of weakening arranged such that the panel is removable from the opposing end of the assembly after applying sufficient tension thereto to rupture the line of weakening.
