PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé continu de fabrica- tion de l'hexafluorure de soufre par réaction du soufre avec le fluor dans un réacteur à flamme, caractérisé en ce que le soufre fondu est pulvérisé sous pression hydraulique dans un courant de fluor gazeux, sans introduction d'un gaz inerte. Ce procédé permet de produire en continu un hexafluorure de soufre de très haute qualité, sans utiliser aucun gaz vecteur pour l'alimentation en soufre.
