This invention relates to a continuous process for the halogenation of elastomers, in which a halogenating agent is introduced into a solution of an unsaturated elastomer in an organic solvent. This continuous process consists in mixing the said halogenating agent in a stream of the said elastomer solution, thus dissolving the said halogenating agent and causing it to react with the said elastomer in the same continuous stream, and in keeping the said continuous stream of the elastomer solution in turbulent motion without flow inversion phenomena during the course of the reaction between the said halogenating agent and the said elastomer.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé en continu pour l'halogénation des élastomères, dans lequel un agent d'halogénation est introduit dans une solution d'un élastomère non saturé dans un solvant organique. Ce procédé en continu consiste à mélanger l'agent d'halogénation dans un flux de la solution d'élastomère, en dissolvant ainsi l'agent d'halogénation et en le faisant réagir avec l'élastomère dans le même flux continu, en maintenant ce flux continu de solution d'élastomère en état de turbulence, sans phénomène d'inversion du flux au cours de la réaction entre l'agent d'halogénation et l'élastomère.
