APPLICATION FOR LETTERS PATENT FOR A CONTINUOUS PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ABS-TYPE POLYBLENDS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a continuous process for the production of ABS type polyblends comprising the poly- merization of a monomer composition comprising monoalkenyl aromatic and alkenyl nitrile monomers in a single reaction zone under steady state conditions forming a matrix copoly- mer dissolved in said monomers as a liquid phase while con- tinuously dispersing in said liquid phase a first and sec- ond grafted diene rubber followed by devolatilization of said liquid phase to form an ABS polyblend having a bimodal rubber particle size distribution and a matrix copolymer having a uniform monomer composition and molecular weight distribution.
