CONTINUOUS REMOVING SYSTEM OF BLOOD SUBSTANCES BY EXTRA CORPOREAL CIRCULATION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The present invention relates to an apparatus for continuous removal of specific substances in blood to treat diseases or to obtain effective substances for treatment of diseases. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus for continuous removal of substances in blood wherein the blood is drawn out of the body and pumped to a filter where the blood is separated into (i) plasma and (ii) blood cells comprising red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets; the specific desired factors in the plasma are removed by passing it through e.g. an adsorber having appropriate insolubilised sub- stances such as enzymes, antigens and antibodies selected accord- ing to the factors to be removed; and the plasma is recombined with the blood cells and returned to the body. The apparatus may, if necessary, be equipped with auxiliary devices such as a heparin injector, a blood pump, a thermostat, a bubble remover and a monitoring unit.
