A continuous sintering plant for use in sintering nuclear fuel pellets or the like, having an integrated structure where the upper part of a sintering furnace is incorporated in a glove box for maintenance use. The furnace consists of a furnace body and a freely detachable top cover which can be opened within the glove box while the enclosed state is maintained. A furnace member accommodated inside the furnace comprises a combination of furnace member units and can be drawn out of the furnace into the glove box for maintenance work. An overhead traveling crane is disposed in the upper part of the glove box, and a space for temporarily placing the top cover and a working space for maintenance are secured. The working space is preferably provided with a rotary table on which the drawn-out furnace member units can be placed.
L'invention concerne une installation de frittage continu permettant de fritter des comprimés de combustible nucléaire ou similaires, cette installation comprenant une structure intégrée dans laquelle la partie supérieure d'un four à fritter est incorporée à une boite à gants à des fins d'entretien. Ce four est constitué d'un partie four et d'un couvercle librement amovible, pouvant être ouvert à l'intérieur de ladite boite à gants tout en permettant à celle-ci de rester fermée. La partie four située à l'intérieur dudit four à fritter comprend plusieurs unités et peut être retirée de ce four à fritter à des fins d'entretien à l'intérieur de la boite à gants. On dispose un pont roulant sur la partie supérieure de cette boite à gants, tout en ménageant un espace permettant de placer temporairement ledit couvercle ainsi qu'un espace de travail destiné à des fins d'entretien. Cet espace de travail renferme de préférence une table rotative sur laquelle sont placées les différentes unités du four destinées à être retirées.
