-15- Continuous Spray Overcap ABSTRACT A continuous spray overcap assembly is disclosed of the type primarily used in conjunction with an aerosol dis- penser. The overcap (1) has a substantially cup-shaped body for mounting on the top of an aerosol can (9) to protect an exposed valve stem (11) from accidental actuation during shipment and shelf storage. A valve actuation means (7) is disposed in the base (3) of the overcap (1) for cooperation with the valve stem (11). The overcap (1) may be removed and remounted on the aerosol container in an inverted position enabling the valve actuation means (7) to open the valve (11) to continuously dispense product until the overcap (1) is removed.
