The invention relates to a continuously operating device for directing pressing or pulling force at an object (1) fed in relation to the device, at that part of the object which is at the location of the device, by using the at least two pairs of rolls (2, 3) or the like belonging to the device, which are at a distance from one another in the direction of movement (17) of the object (1) and through the nips (4, 5) between which the object (1) is arranged to travel, whereby to at least one roll (6) of at least one pair of rolls (2) is connected, supported on the roll (6) and thus rotating with the roll (6), an actuator (10) effecting a rotary movement concentric with respect to the axis of rotation of the roll (6), the actuator being in turn arranged to transmit the said rotary movement by mechanical power transmission means (11-15) to at least one roll (8) of the other pair of rolls (3). For supplying the driving power of the actuator (10) is arranged a drive shaft (21) which is arranged to rotate concentrically with respect to the axis of rotation of the roll (6), but independently with respect to the said axis of rotation, and which drive shaft (21) is, on the other hand, arranged to be rotated by a power means (22).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif à fonctionnement continu, exerçant une force d'application ou de traction sur un objet (1) se déplaçant par rapport au dispositif, et ce, sur la partie de l'objet se trouvant au droit du dispositif. On utilise à cet effet au moins deux paires de rouleaux (2, 3) ou analogues appartenant au dispositif, répartis les uns par rapport aux autres selon le sens de déplacement (17) de l'objet et qui dépassent des rouleaux pinceurs (4, 5) entre lesquels l'objet (1) est disposé pour son déplacement. Au niveau de l'un au moins des rouleaux (6) de la paire de rouleaux (2) se trouve monté, supporté par le rouleau (6), et donc en rotation avec le rouleau (6), un actionneur (10) réalisant un mouvement de rotation centré sur l'axe de rotation du rouleau (6). En ce qui le concerne, cet actionneur est monté de façon à transférer à l'un au moins des rouleaux (8) de l'autre paire de rouleaux (6) ledit mouvement de rotation au moyen d'organes de transmission mécaniques (11-15). Pour fournir la force motrice de l'actionneur (10), on utilise un arbre moteur (21) monté de façon à tourner dans l'axe de rotation du rouleau (6), mais indépendamment par rapport à cet axe de rotation, l'arbre moteur (21) étant par ailleurs agencé de façon à être mis en rotation par un organe moteur (22).
