Abstract Inflatable hose for transport of gas and fluids, where the wall thickness of the hose 11) is slight in relation to the external diameter (D) of the hose, and that according to the invention is characterized in that it is produced of textile coated with an artificial material that is folded continu- ously in the longitudinal direction of the hose and where the edges (selvages) of the textile layers meet butt and butt (3' and 3"). This is done by passing two textile ribbons (1' and 1") that are coated on one or both sides into a folding device, where the ribbons are folded continuously around their axis in the longitudinal direction until the edges of the textile layers meet butt and butt in an outer (3") and an inner (3') butt and butt joint, whereupon the lamination takes place in a heated press device.
