A support cage for supporting and positioning power transfer tiltable balls in a rolling traction transmission and its method of manufacture are disclosed. The cage comprises first and second support discs, each disc comprising a sheet having a plurality of two-sided slots. A first plurality of spacers extends between the first and second discs, each spacer having front and back sides and first and second ends. The first and second ends each have a mounting surface with each mounting surface having a curved surface. The first plurality of spacers are positioned angularly about the first and second discs, between the slots in the support discs, such that the curved surfaces align with the sides of the slots.

L'invention concerne une cage de soutien pour le support et le positionnement des billes orientables pour la transmission de la puissance par un chemin de roulement, ainsi que sa méthode de fabrication. La cage comprend un premier et un second disques de support, chaque disque comportant une tôle munie d'une série de fentes à deux faces. Ces dernières comportent toutes deux une surface de montage, chacune de ces surfaces étant courbée. La première série de cales est placée à un angle autour du premier et du second disques, entre les fentes dans les disques de support, de telle sorte que les surfaces courbées s'alignent avec les côtés des fentes.
