Abstract of the Disclosure A cloth spreading machine supporting a cloth, a spreader unit and means positively feeding the cloth from the roll to the spreader unit, the cloth spreading machine being adapted to move relatively longitudinally of a spreader surface. The spreader unit includes an improved tuck blade having a contoured free edge for engaging easily stretch- able web material in order to stretch or spread the cloth widthwise and remove the wrinkles from the cloth as it is spread.
