CONTROL APPARATUS FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Abstract of the Disclosure A control apparatus for an internal combustion engine has a plurality of sensors for detecting operating conditions of the engine, the detected signals being converted into digital signals for the arithmetic operation executed in a central processor. This apparatus includes a register for storing data supplied from the central processor, a counter for counting pulses produced each time the engine rotates a fixed crank angle, and a comparator for producing an output when a count value of the counter becomes equal to or greater than the data set in the register. A logic circuit is provided to produce a control pulse on the basis of the output of the comparator for the control of fuel injection. Upon the detection of conditions to correct the quantity of fuel injected into the engine, the data to be set into the register are changed.
