The control arrangement comprises a casing (6) that accommodates a circuitry (1) adapted to drive an electric heating element (3) via a Triac. The casing comprises apertures (10, 11) enabling an air flow to circulate for cooling down the Triac (2) through a heat-conducting wall (12) that isolates the Triac (2) and the control circuitry (1) from said apertures (10, 11).
